I’m regularly told that they’re exceeding expectations but then they get reviews that say they’re meeting expectations on a team full of people that do way less than they do? I’ve actually been told that if there was something between meets and exceeds…I’d get that…but there not, so I get the same average performer raise, recognition, etc.

Who here is a bit of a glass snob-or is it just me-and what’s your go to glass? I went from a regular Glencairn to a fluted cognac glass, and now I’m all about a Waterford straight sided tumbler.

Having a bourbon bar nearby is clutch. Over the past few weeks I've tried like 10 different bourbons including Pappy, Weller 12, ER10, OF1920, Booker's all at ~$10-15 a pour.

Looking for a recommendation- I know this may cause lots of back and forth - but what would you all consider the best bottle of bourbon- ie not $200+ a bottle and not finished in some sweet cask but true bourbon I can have more than one glass of. I’ll be a little more specific and say not rye either. My favorite so far is Eagle Rare (getting harder to find) and my older brother is a Blanton’s fan and although I like it, I don’t think it’s worth the money in my location (DC area)
