I was hired as a contract employee as a Technical Support Specialist with a base pay of 60k. Now the management is interested in making me a full time employee after my contract ends. I was wondering if anyone is willing to share their net pay as a TSS with 6YOE. So that I have a number to negotiate. OpenText

Anyone over here doing HIIT regularly?
At 27, I’m on about $220k and I want nothing more than to quit and start my own business.
What kinda business would you start or does the results that ownership can create matter more?
I say if the main goal is beyond making money then starting a business is always worth it.
They’re two different things. If the idea of putting in a bunch of work to build and create something that you envision with some risk it may not succeed doesn’t appeal to you, raise that threshold by a lot.

The real question is: why do you need to choose one or another
As someone who has owned and operated a handful of companies in the last few years. I feel like the small business can be so mentally and physically draining and isolative. I am pivoting from entrepreneur to something in corporate to hone my skills and learn more about the higher levels of management.
Owning a business is physically & mentally draining to be honest but a rewarding feeling. Your stress is worth it once you see the results of all your hardwork. However, it takes a while to achieve this, so you need resources (financially) & a helping hand of course but for starters, you will definitely be a one man team. In terms of employment, the stress is not worth your stress hahaha I mean yes, if you love what you're doing but if you're already in a phase where in you feel crap at work then it's not worth it. So, what I'm saying is choose your stress wisely hahaha
