Hi Fishes, I cleared an AVP role in JP, Hyderabad. I'm currently at 22 LPA and JP is offering a 45% on this. I have 17 years of experience and 13 years association with Deloitte. Should I consider this offer. Deloitte has great flexibility, my last annual bonus was 3.2L. Does JPMC has flexibility and what other benefits do they offer?
Wondering if I’m putting too much in my 401k, currently @ 85 base per year and hoping to place 40% of my salary for the next 2 months to finish maxing it out. I currently have ~1.5 years expenses and have maxed my IRA and HSA. Should I be hoarding more cash?
Moms who breastfed/pumped, why did you do it and how did you maintain sanity? Esp after reading Cribsheet where she says there may not be any lt benefits, 3 weeks in and I’m ready to give up
Is it possible to negotiate a higher 401K match at a company you’re applying to? Or does it have to be the same for each employee? The company I’m interviewing with offers a 50cent match up to 6%.
I’m a 28F who is barely getting into investing. It’s frustrating that it took this long but as a first gen college grad, my parents didn’t know anything about this stuff until very recently, so naturally I was never taught about it. It’s crazy to see people younger than me with all this knowledge on saving and investing. How did you learn so much at such a young age? Any advice for someone like me who is starting out so late in the game?
Why is being a mom and working in healthcare so difficult? I always feel like I am failing.
Hello! What are other benefits you try to negotiate for when starting a new job? Also what is the standard Canadian range for an agency producer? Currently on 85.
Is it wise for my situation to take a loan against my 401k @ 5.5%? Hv 60k international mortgage left of 200k at 9%, can’t refinance here. Hv 32k in 401k, 25k In emergency in HYSA.
Anybody from Accenture here? Need to know about experience working, Job security and benefits in PM role for NCR location?
Genuinely asking for input from folks good with managing money. Grew up around very poor $ habits. Single mid 20s. Making $85k, rent is $1,650. No car pymt or debt. Have 6 mo emergency fund. Been contributing 10% (+ 4% match) to 401k and maxing Roth IRA. I budget for and track every dollar I spend and enjoy my life without being overly extravagant. Would most people be spending less and contributing more to 401k? I’d love to be someone who maxes out 401 - but don’t feel it’s realistic? Thanks!
Hello everyone, I’m a Human Resources Manager in Florida looking for NEXT STEP in my career ready for HR. Director position with 13 years of experience. Experience in healthcare, entertainment and manufacturing.
Help me understand this. From a salary of 120k, I’m getting a total tax deduction of 27%. That’s $32,400 going to the government. 32 thousand?!?!?! Do I ever get any of it back? Why so much? It technically reduces my income to $87k. Can someone please explain. I’m appalled.
I'm 29 and will have close to 120k in assets by end of year. I know everyone's situation is different but just curious how I'm doing compared to other 29 year olds! Sometimes I feel 'behind' when constantly seeing people in this bowl and other platforms talk about having 200-300k+ in assets and are like 25! Just looking for a reality check :) Where you at my 1992 brothers and sisters!
Cashed out my 401k yesterday and never felt so free. Was never expecting this to be real money
Hello everyone! I’m speaking with a recruiter from Angle Health next week for the Implementation Manager role. Anyone works/worked there can give some information? About the company, culture, benefits, salary…etc Thank you
I was in a call a while back that was specifically about switching from PDM to USDC. From what I could understand, USDC is the same thing as PDM but with added work but no added benefits. Which to me translates to traditional minus the added benefits. Am I misunderstanding something? Why would anyone want to join USDC?!?
For my ~30 year old peers, what are your savings — cash and assets? I’ll go: $250k in cash, currently only own a car and have $70k remaining in student loans. Curious to see the spectrum for our profession.
Looking for recommendations on benefits including pet insurance, gyms and/or student loan repayment. Anyone work with a vendor they can recommend?
Interviewing at Kearney and BCG, but currently on maternity leave at Deloitte until mid-Oct. Should I tell the recruiters now that I would need a delayed start date or leave that to negotiations if I get an offer? Would happily start sooner but D’s policy says I need to wait 30 days after returning from mat leave or I might have to “pay back” the benefit.

To meet your parents on the other side of security and use your TSA pre check or be courteous and go through regular security w/ them? 🤔
The delta gate told me that I hit the jackpot although I paid the full price for my first class ticket.
Folks with CSR or Priority Pass For lounge access.. how often do you use that benefit on weekly travel? Looks like most lounges are in international terminals.. what am I missing here?

Anyone here ever used imperfect Produce? Sounds like a novel idea. Don't mind eating oddly shaped fruits for lower price if they taste good!
