That is a mood. My insecurities have become my defining feature đ
In the Navy, we had a saying: ship, shipmate, self. Meaning you always had to think about the greater good when you were out at sea or on the ship. You pull your team together before you can think about your needs.
When you are off and itâs your time, the best way to think about it was the opposite order. Take care of yourself first, then your loved ones, then ...so forth.
I get into self loathing moods sometimes and itâs difficult to âlove myselfâ, as you put it. But thinking about how many strides youâve made from your past self can give you context into how far youâve come.
Achievements-college-consulting, etc. By any measure you are doing well professionally, even if you either feel less than average. Donât compare yourself to your peer set. Itâs only folly.
Ernest Hemingway said âthere is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.â
Donât lose sight of the big picture. Dust yourself off and realize it can be okay to take a few steps back, as long as your long game is marching forward.
Stay positive and have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
Not me! I love myself, take care of myself, and then worry about everyone and everything else. If I donât love myself then how can I expect anyone else to love me?

Love yourself first, always. If you donât none of your relationships will be healthy because people pray on those with low self esteem, donât give anyone that power. You are great, itâs only one of you out there, practice self care routines and grow ur love for urself.
Easier to get someone that can love you.
I understand where youâre coming from. But I donât think itâs hard if you tune your mind to believe that what you are, and everything you do is the best you can in that situation. We all have our problems and insecurities and thatâs what makes us human, identity what your story is, and be proud of it!

Itâs easy to love yourself, especially if you have someone who loves you.
