LTACH ICU vs acute care hospital ICU; thoughts????

You're less likely to burn out in LTACH, imo. It's still work, but the turnover is slower than in hospital ICU. I see the value in planning for the future and keeping options open, but I also feel like it's so hard to find work-life balance in nursing as it is so I'd put a little consideration into that in your case.

This depends a lot on your goals, experience, and future plans. Personally i side with acute care icu (its what im in). I think it leaves a lot of doors open for future plans. You will also get to see a lot. It is stressful tho.
From what I understand of the ltach option, you’ll be dealing with a lot of longer term patient care (hence the name). You will still get vents and some stuff like that, but idk beyond that.
Hopefully this helps. If you have more questions on the acute care side of things, i can answer more

I agree with this, I think acute is still better and it gives you more freedom to move around. It's definitely not the easiest but I think it gives you more opps down the line

You’ll learn more in acute. LTACH icus can’t do as much, you’ll still see vents and drips, but our LTACH couldn’t do any advanced hemodynamic monitoring like art lines, Swans, etc. We have an intensivist but he want onsite except with rounds once a day, so in an emergency we were more on our own and had to transport out to acute hospital a lot.

Second year at lit boutique. Being asked to draft a lot of briefs from scratch. Work product is great but I take way too long. Not necessarily procrastinating. I just struggle to get a flow state. I rewrite the same sentences over and over. Constantly restructure outline. Always stop to check westlaw. I want to just power through a first draft and add cites/revise prose later. But can’t figure out. Flow state only comes when I’m backed against a wall. Currently on medication. Any other tips?

We were able to get a replacement for the rest, but the graphics cards are hard to get according to the store.

Hi Fishes,
1 doubt. We usually get a call before the interview scheduling, for discussing our experience, skill sets, etc., At that time itself, most of the recruiters ask for our cctc & ectc. Then they schedule the interview and further rounds.
So my qn is, can we change the ECTC during HR disc. from what we mentioned in the initial call (before the interview)
