Recently accepted a position outside Dallas as a Revenue Analyst for a small but fast-growing Hospitality Revenue Management consulting company. Base pay is sitting at $55k with 5-15% salary bonus and potential promotion within 6 months to minimum $64k. How tight should I expect to budget myself moving to this area since I’m graduating this week and moving there right away? What should be my max rent for a 1 BR/BA?

Has anyone quit a job and taken a couple months off before searching for a new role? I'm a mid-level litigation associate and really considering just walking away for a couple months. The lateral market is good where I am, but having a resume gap worries me.

Is the Workday Payroll Certification really worth it?

Especially considering you can make a similar amount of money doing the other core HCM modules without having to learn about the Practitioner side of things in Payroll.

Also, if you want to exit to an internal role, 9/10 job openings that I see do not even list payroll as a requirement but you'll always see the core modules+ Absence & TT.

I want to inform you all that with your help I was able to clear the Hirevue round of Deloitte New Grad position 2023 and now just final interview remains. Thank you guys, you made it possible.
The role is technical strategy which I guess comes under SAP so the SAP team will be taking the interview for Toronto location.
The interview will have 30 minutes behavioural interview questions and 30 minutes case study.

Looking to exist Salesforce due to “Comp Throttling”. Even with promotions every year (2) exiting looks to increase OTE by 80-120% (3YOE)I have offers from Hubspot and a Saleforce partner for CS. Partner Is 18% higher OTE, with a much larger workload and worst WLB.
