Lump sum $6k now or DCA and contribute more as prices go lower?

Tbh 6k isn't that much. If you're truly investing for the long term, you shouldn't mind too much if that goes up or down in the short term.

I would personally lump sum tomorrow, but you can always DCA if that makes you more comfortable.

If you're not sure, lean toward DCA, especially if your brokerage has automatic investments. 1k a wek for 6 weeks.

It isn't a big deal as kpmg 1 said. By the time your 6k doubles (7 to 10 years), your annual income should have doubled, and 6k won't be a huge deal to you.

Can someone point me to some material where I can read about profit sharing vs 401k. I get the concept, but I am trying to understand is 10% profit sharing vested over 5 years better than an employee 401k match of 6%?

From my understanding 10% PS is better because it’s just a standard 10% on top of whatever I contribute though it takes 5 years to vest. Does this mean if I leave before 5 years I don’t get any of it?

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?

Hi,

Just started a new job less than a month ago in the tech sector. It was the industry I was fixated on when leaving for. However I realise that I don't think I can cope with the fast paced, lack of wlb, with no support - it's really impacting my mental health already....

I try to hide it from my boyfriend, but its impact is flowing into my personal life.
I feel like a failure, but recognise it might be beneficial to cut loss and quit. Has anyone been in this situation?

Any advice?
