Why do women get judged for their clothes?
I think you should see some sort of therapist even if it’s just for a session or 2. I’m sure there are some unresolved feeling about the relationship that you may need to get off your chest and therapy is a perfect place to do that
I’m very Sorry things didn’t work out. But consider this moment (no matter how difficult it may be) as a second chance and fresh start at life.
Best of luck to you.
Thank you. I will sign up for a session and see where this path takes me.
OP - I was in a similar position around your age (except female and no kids). After the divorce I met with a counselor for a period of time. He helped me look at my role in the marriage, how it crumbled over time, etc.
I spent a lot of time reflecting on what went well, what didn’t go so great, and being very clear about what I wanted in a possible future relationship/partner.

CIO1, thank you for sharing your experience, this is very helpful. I will also check our uncoupling, it seems interesting.
Do you think you need counseling? It probably wouldn’t hurt to feel things out with a counselor to determine if further counseling is needed. This is obviously a significant change in your life and many people would need someone to talk to.
If you are going back and forth on it, you should try counseling. It can only help.
Counseling always helps, especially in extenuating circumstances. Would help you process thoughts and emotions properly to move on.
I agree. Will defiantly take this route.
I was also in a similar boat when I divorced. Long marriage that started when I was young. I’m now 43 and spent the first year post divorce getting counseling and learning how to date without getting myself into anything serious again right away.
My biggest advice would be to not jump right back into something serious right away. It seems natural to want to do this, but you have to allow yourself the natural process of grief and rediscovery of self.
Thank you. I appreciate you sharing your wisdom
I don’t understand why American men leave their house they have a argument or divorce!
It’s complicated.
Why did you get divorced?
Because we grew apart. Out grew each other.
