I just got an offer from EY in London but considering based on what the maternity policy is which doesn’t seem to be spelt out in contract or benefits pdf. Does anyone know a) if there’s a minimum employment period to qualify and b) what the enhanced maternity pay is. I’ve read both 16 weeks and 18 weeks.

150 I would say at least. Pwc pays like 176k for m1 in mcol.

As mentioned elsewhere in the thread, there are MM firms paying as much if not more.
125 sounds about right. The managers making the 140-160 base are in tier 1 / upper tier 2 cities at big 4. I was at big4 at a higher end mcol making 105k as S3, so to jump 35% seemed unlikely.
Rule of thumb in public is that M1 promo is generally 18%-25% (25% if great year and top performer).
What’s your point PwC?

Everyone is using Pwc as benchmark, but that’s the highest paying big four and they already started to trim fats

y’all are completely missing the point. Comparing MM TAS salaries to a company at the top of the band across the entire industry is not a reasonable comparison.
Compare to A&M? No, same reasons above.
Compare to HL? Possibly
A better comparison would be RSM, BDO, GT, Crowe, CR, etc.

I don’t know the salary but congrats 🥳
We’ll not promoted yet, but thank you for the kind words!

base or TC? $125 base is fine, 125 TC is low
Pwc S3’s in MCOL are making 130’s - I’d say 140’s minimum
He works for MM, not to mention your own firm doesn’t even come close to PwC, so idk why PwC is the benchmark here

130k would be fair, but could be higher if you are comparing to places like B4.
