Who works at DoorDash corporate and can give me advice on interviewing? I have my first round of interviews for a S&O role next week. I know there’s mixed feelings about working there but I need this job and it pays well. I’m working a temp job now and I need something permanent. I do have tech startup experience. Advice and insight would be appreciated!

Would you recommend EY? Ok a scale of 1 to 10?
Not necessarily true that an MBA means nothing in accounting. It may mean nothing in Public Accounting, but I left public briefly to go to industry and some roles you couldn't get without an MBA and CPA combination. (Like high level roles). Also most industry companies will pay for the MBA, because they want people to have them so bad. So you may want to wait until you go into industry and have them pay for it
I would say stick out to manager since you are almost there, before going for the MBA. WITHIN accounting MBA is not worth much, but it is the perfect career pivot tool if you go to a good school for it.
PS: would you mind telling me about your experience in M & A Tax a little? I want to work in this group after my internships next year, any insight is appreciated!
Wouldn’t mind a tax specific role, but have always seen myself in more of a business or corporate development position long term.
Mba is good for a career change. Each b school also specializes
What do you think about waiting to make manager vs. as a senior? My thought on waiting is being able to show career progression
