I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Hi Fishies! (Is that what we are? I’m going with it)
I just came across a Google Research and Insights role that got me SUPER excited and I was about to apply when I had the idea of seeing if anyone would be willing to give me a referral. I understand (and respect) that most of you Googlers on here feel that a referral is only useful if you know the person but I would be happy to jump on the phone to give you some info about me. It would mean so much! 4 YOE at a major audio steaming service

I’ve gone through this process and the interviewing is a bit ridiculous. But, know you’re resume inside and out so that you are able to provide a lot of different examples. You will find that many interviews you will be asked the same question just in a different way, and they are still going to want different examples.
Also, don’t read into any of the interviews. I had amazing interviews through out and got raving reviews from each of my interviewers, and was still given a no.
Show up, do your best, and regardless of if you get an offer or not then you can be proud of the work you were able to accomplish.
Rooting for you!
