Made the mistake of applying to a position with a recruiter who appears to have gone to university with my boss (abt 15-20 years ago). Am I screwed?

Curious what I should ask for with the medium/big shops, offers for Consumer leads with 17y experience? Online research has way too large a spread based on agency size, product category and title inflation ($200-500K). Any help appreciated!

Big law specialist with an offer to be the CFO and GC of a 250M AUM hedge fund. All in comp would probably be ~$300k, so about $100k less than where I would be in big law (including bonus). Potential to get involved in the business side, but most likely more of a back office role (I would also be the only legal hire - main goal would be cutting outside legal cost and streamlining processes). Does this sound like an attractive offer? What exit options would I have?

I am a traditional reservist so I never really used military benefits before, but could use advice here.

I am currently renting and my lease is not up until October 2021, however I found a good deal on a home and scheduled to close in June 2021.

My landlord will not work with me to end the lease early, so it looks like I will have to double up on rent and mortgage through the summer.

If I went on active duty orders, can I use those orders to break my lease early without penalty?
