To someone who has lost their job, what are the challenges you faced?

I was afraid of loosing job but now it doesn't matter. I know I'm good at what I do and will keep on improving.
I have kept savings in bank that will be helpful in case I loose my job.

I'm a project manager at an understaffed consulting startup. I hate it so much that I want to quit today and only give 1 week notice. However if I did that, my last day would be 1 week away from Go Live for 2 different projects. Would it be really bad to leave so close to Go Live?

Amazon 🐠, I know the Amazon stock has been going up for some time now, but have h had an experience where the stock price was lower than the projected price in your offer letter? So let’s say ur project stock price was 1000 for y4 and when u got the shares in y4 the actual price was 800? Did u get more shares to cover the rest?

Joined Company A, 2 months ago in APM role. Now, I have got another offer from Company B for the same role.

Company A is in real estate, Company B is in healthcare.

CTC at Company A: 21 fixed + 1 retention bonus (1 year)

CTC at Company B: 22.5 fixed + 2.5 variable+ 1 joining bonus

Should I join the new company? Or ask the current one to match the offer?

P.S. both companies are Bangalore based startups though company A is bigger in terms of employees. (1500 vs 150)
