OP - sarcastic question or sarcastic post? I have recently had a similar problem: Just started dating this girl casually and my first love (whom I am still in love with) has come back and she's hotter/smarter/etc than the fling. Should I leave my casual fling for my love or not? I really need FB opinion. My love may get fatter/bald/have kids, while the casual fling may go the other way. What should I do? I know this is a subjective but I would like to hear everyone's opinions and in no way I have indicated which way I would prefer to go.

You get the consulting positives seeping into your career probably around the 5-year mark. For most Consultants that's two years after they've quit, so you need to consider Consulting path as that - A Five-Year Plan, if you are going to stick around. If you're doing something in Consulting that is adjacent to healthcare and is what you like to do then it's a great path. If you are more interested in healthcare and currently doing something else then take the change, try out Industry and if it doesn't work comeback Consulting

Take it. Leave PwC off your resume in the future and be sure to stay at the new job for more than a year.

Maybe it's not about the money for them?

Because almost all us know that the money matters a lot less than doing something we love.

The only consideration I'd think about is at least completing 1 year for the sake of your CV and not raising any red flags in the future. That said, I'm a fan of following what excites me. Good luck.

$100k after 1.5 yrs is good, industry or consulting. Don't worry about not having "given consulting a chance" you can always come back, just not to PwC

like

Because by then you have gotten accustomed to the culture and the network starts to grow exponentially if you are good. At 2-3 yrs most people figure out they don't like consulting life vs work/life balance.

like

Coming up, stagnation of pay compared to staying in consulting, laying back bonus (is that a thing?), and having only 6 months of consulting to show for everything? Thoughts?? I understand this is subjective, but would love to hear other fishy opinions 🐠

*paying back bonus

Do it.
