Honesty hour: anyone here feel like they settled for their significant other? Is it bad that I’m even thinking this? Sometimes I just wonder what my life would be like if I had dated someone in investment banking pulling 500K+ each year...

If you do two years as an analyst at one bank is it possible to lateral into an associate position at another, or would you be an analyst again? Not at a good enough platform to get into the type of Buyside roles I want. Unsure of next steps.

Only EY filed H1B with PP?

Why do people act like the only 2 options are "COVID is here to stay get used to it with 0 precautions" and "hide under your bed until it's gone in 2026 one day"? Can we not fall somewhere in the middle with our approach (assuming you're not immunocompromised or have a baby around or something)

Those managers and above, if you have a sold newly promoted senior with good FY17 utilization but his FY 18 utilization so far is around 60%, what would you think?

Would you say that benefits offered will make a break a job offer for you over salary? Trying to make a decision

Can anyone please confirm who has recently joined HSBC. Is it currently work from home for a while or a hybrid working, because currently HSBC is onboarding virtually so is it the same case for working also?

Is it unreasonable for me to spend $9,000 on my wedding dress? For context, I make $215,000 a year.

How much should you weigh in Glassdoor reviews when trying to select an agency? I've been coming across a lot of open job opportunities with different agencies, but then I get dismayed whenever I research the agency and see that it has mixed reviews. Most agencies I've looked at have an average of about 3 stars and they have really divided reviews. Should Glassdoor reviews be factored in when selecting an agency? Or should you just make a decision based on your own impression of the agency?

Honest opinion, Whats ur take on workplaces mandating the COVID VACCINES on their staff? How did you go about finding a mentor? I am 25 and would love to have a mentor at this point in my life and career.

Is anyone here familiar with “flexible work week” and/or “half-time pay” for OT? Never heard of half-time pay before until recently, always thought OT was time and half pay. To my understanding even with a flexible work week the OT rate can be time and half pay but it it dependent on the company to determine how much they want to offer as OT. It seems so cheap to me for a company to choose this.
