Given the expectation for people of my tenure to transition to EM in a year or so, I can’t see myself staying due to the WLB as an EM. I’m 35 and have 2 young kids. Can it even be realistically done? dont like it dont celebrate it. if u want to go by general perception about cooking ,majority of men dont really care about festivities & related nuisances. if it is left to them they really would not bother about it. there is a lot of unpaid labour that both genders do in a 👪

I am a man and I cook all the time. Married to a non desi so particularly cook for our festival traditions - from Gujhias on Holi to halwa / Puri / Chana on Navratra.
My wife has picked it up and now she can cook those dishes better than me
