I like Estee Lauder double wear line, it looks great in photos!
Also my favorite!
I actually tried the IL MAKIAGE foundation and to my surprise, it dries really naturally (no oxidation). Foundation is not sticky, stays on all day until you use makeup wipes/double cleansing system to remove it. The foundation doesn't leave any residue if you hug someone, not cakey either
Agreed!! Did not expect to love it, but I really do. Very natural and great color match.
Dior Airflash has good coverage and has long staying power. No matter what you should use a setting spray like urban decay all nighter to keep everything in place. Even sweating in 80 degree weather the setting spray keeps my makeup on my face.
I second the Dior air flash. One of the best. Also Guerlain terracotta. Super natural on the skin, medium coverage (but looks like 2nd skin) and I’ve worn it on very hot days and never looks like it’s melting or cakey
I like Lancôme’s teint idole ultra for my oily uneven skin. Paired with a tacky primer and setting powder it stays out all day. Not the lightest foundation, but full coverage and great for pictures.
I just got a sample of this and loved it. i have very dry sensitive skin and didn’t use a powder or primer. I met a new coworker and they were shocked I wasn’t in my 20s (I’m 33). My skin looked awesome all day! Usually I go for sheer coverage so I was very surprised how much I liked it, very natural looking. I agree it would be great for photos
La Mer, Armani, Charlotte Tilbury, Fenty, and Makeup Forever are all good options.
But remember, the primer/what’s under your foundation is just as important. There’s primers and foundations are either silicone-based, oil-based or water-based primers and mixing them up ruins your makeup
Try the foundation by Dior, Charlotte Tilbury or Nars. My friend and I were discussing this last night and we are make up junkies, tried them all. The next key is what you’re using to set your make up. I’ve been using hourglass veil setting powder and finishing with MAC setting spray. I never reapply makeup during the day with these two. I may need to take fluffy brush with a little bit of setting powder if I need to do a quick refresh but generally I don’t. If it’s humid I may need a blotting paper. Happy to answer any other questions!
I like MAC pro longwear waterproof foundation
Chanel cc cream
I'm a big fan of Milani's 2 in 1 Conceal + Perfect foundation- easy to work with and full coverage with a natural finish, also affordable!
I heard georgio armani stays on super well and is good for oily skin. In case you start sweating a little, a moist sponge might be handy for touch ups/blotting the oil - it worked really well when I took pictures overseas where it was hot and humid.
Taylor Wynn has some great foundation wear tests and reviews from when she had oily skin (pre-Accutan3) if you want to check her out.
Your local Sephora or Ulta will give you samples to try and you can do your own wear tests.
I have combo skin and rely on primer and setting spray to get through the day.
I like Covergirl Matte Made foundation. It's the best I've tried for oily skin.
Younique has different face primers depending on your skin type that would ideally work best with their foundation but would probably work with any foundation to cater to your skin type
Make up forever at sephora
Armani, have oily skin and had to wear it for my cousin's wedding which was an all day and night affair for days...gave me medium to high coverage. I tried Fenty before, made me feel a bit cakey.
Go to Sephora or somewhere similar and try it on to test. At the end of the day, your skin and the way you feel wearing it, or the way you find yourself looking matters more; your experience might differ from others.
