Making 90K in Texas, it’s my first job out of college so I’m not sure of best retirement plan: should I max Roth 401k or Traditional 401K?

I’d say Roth given income / tax bracket. Any match will be Traditional.

Roth until you break $100k-ish

like

Reasons above mostly, but also cause your tax rate is lower under $100k

I’m planning on making my Roth IRA as well

Don’t do Roth IRA and 401k. It’s redundant. I’d do traditional 401k and then Roth

I am about to return to work after maternity leave. I have a 4 month old and a two year old. Our daycare is periodically closing due to COVID. No one else I know is in my shoes in my group/office at EY. How have your families in similar situations dealt with this? I feel like I’ll be very unreliable as we head into the busy season.
