I saw in the news that Google is increasing minimum PTO to 20 days. What is the full detail on this (e.g., is more PTO earned at benchmarks like 3 and 5 years as before? Did the max. PTO increase?) ? Does the PTO policy cover sick days or are those separate? Accenture’s PTO is both vacation and sick leave in one, and it’s a total bummer. I started with like 16 days.

I’m male 5’10”, 176lbs, and 33” waist. I’m trying to get down to 165lbs. I’m guessing you’re about where you’d want to be but that’s up to you
I agree with D2. I'm 5'8 and 172. I'd like to be 165 or so. I've lost 10# since December
That’s fair. I’m trying to lose weight without sacrificing the bourbon. It’s not working so I guess I’ll need to cut back
Wanted to get peoples opinion on healthy weights for my size. After reading some posts here I feel like there are a number of people with solid qualifications to answer that better then googling
Idk, are you fat or built? Better indicator would be body fat %. Seems a bit on the thicker side of ok without knowing more details. If you can’t easily determine your body fat %, how much can you bench? If you can bench more than your own body weight on the bar it is a decent indicator of strength.
“should be” is relative. I’m 5’7, 140lbs, 29 in waist
5’10 210lbs 33” waist with abs. I’m obese according to BMI. There really isn’t an answer to your question
If you’re 5’7 I think you should be around 150
Well done E2! I’ve started forcing myself to run a minimum of 3 times a week since early March but it’s slow progress. Any tips on how you’re losing weight?
D2, you need to eat at a caloric deficit if you want to lose weight. Exercise helps, but it’s easy to eat your way out of the benefits of exercise. If you don’t watch what you eat, you might as well not exercise.
Also, lifting can increase your basal metabolic weight (number of calories you burn just by doing nothing) if you increase your proportion of muscle mass. It also puts some of those calories to good use by building muscle instead of fat.
D2 I just started to think about what I was eating. My wife went on a low carb diet, I just followed along. The harder part is when I travel and eating less crap. I will only have a drink one night versus every night. I don't drink a lot at home. I've been getting better about working out. I hate the gym
I'm 5'9, 170 lbs, and 30 waist. So, yes, you are a bit on the heavy side 😂
