Kid 1 to kid 2, 3 year gap Kid 2 to Kid 3, 2 year gap Kid 3 to kid 4, 12 minute gap The gaps work well for me, but it’s hard to imagine anything different.

I too had 2 miscarriages before my first son was born. I was grateful to get pregnant and deliver successfully, but doubtful we’d have more bc of infertility problems. We had 2 more sons. Kid 1 to kid 2, 2 year gap Kid 2 to kid 3- 3 year gap They played together (and fought) when younger, but now that they’re in their 20s, their relationship with each other is super close. We weren’t necessarily expecting that they’d be this close. It’s nice to see.

We have two, about 2.5 years between. It was really nice being able to explain with words to the toddler that a baby was coming, and then use words to explain how much we still love him just as much, etc. It is so sweet seeing them together, he loves his little sis so much. But that said, we probably would have rolled with it no matter what.

3.5 years and love it. Older one is independent enough to do basic tasks on his own but still wants to play with the younger one.

Kid 1 to 2, two years 1 month Kid 2 to 3, 15 months I’m racing to get them all to over 5years as I’m assuming it gets easier then; less constant watching. Really, age gap management is irrelevant as very few people can control these things.

I regret not having done my MBA from an IVY League B school. I have seen industry and HR professionals being biased towards people from IIMs and so on. While I am currently doing decently well, I can't help feel bad for experiencing the bias in terms of promotions and CTC. Even the new/baby IIMs (some of which I have left to join my B school) are now given more importance. How can I offset this bias?

Need some strength 🐠s - my wife and I just had a baby a few weeks ago and her fuse has been so short it’s scary. I know postpartum rage is a serious thing but these episodes are hard to fend off and support her through. She’s also making digs that make it sound like I’m a horrible dad/partner and haven’t supported her at all through this (hard not to be hurt because this isn’t true). Any tips on how to support her through this when she’s constantly criticizing?

I know this has been asked 1047 times but I’m so beyond frustrated at this point. I CANNOT find cute maternity clothes. I’ve looked at pink blush, seraphine, H&M, all department stores, asos, target. Literally everywhere. HELP. I need clothes that aren’t just sweatpants that I can wear possibly to work and out of my house.

🐠 who have kids late (maybe after 35?), are you worried that your teenage kids might be embarrassed by how old you are? Other moms/dads are in their 30s, nice looking and cool, but we are in our late 40s even 50s.

Big law dads (especially junior associates), need some advice. I’m burnt out as hell, have low energy levels, hit a wall with work (haven’t really taken a vacation in 2+ years), and have two young kids. I can’t quit the job to recover because I have five mouths to feed (kids + a parent) and every day feels like a grind due to the burn out. Spouse doesn’t understand why I’m dead, and she complains that I’m not doing enough at home. How do I heal? Quitting isn’t an option, we have no fall back.

Has anyone been in a long term relationship where wedding just got pushed to the sideline-- committed, happy etc, and thoughts about having a kid come up? Did you have regret having a kid prior to getting married? Always wanted to wait and do things in "order" but at this point between age, pandemic and life getting in the way feel pressured to just start trying...

Approved by doctor/HR to remain remote and it’s not going over well( we were told we would remain remote, which included giving up our desks, but are now being asked to come in two days). The person who seemed the most annoyed by my request is my direct boss. I found it odd because she announced she was only doing one day because she was pregnant and the director was basically like “ok”. I don’t want to put a target on my back and I do enjoy the work. Should I just bite the bullet and come in?
