Those who find happiness intrinsically, how do you do it? I’ve always sought things and people to be happy. I’ve been less happy after college and the pandemic doesn’t help. Growing up, our family constantly moved (3 continents, 4 countries) and it was always difficult to make friends. I can’t complain to people about this because then I sound like the privileged prick who gets to travel and lives a arguably good life. Sorry for the rant 😔

Both my wife and I work for FAANG companies. As the stock has recently gone through the roof I was wondering if we should try to protect the gains (covered call/put options). I’ve been working for my State Farm agent since January 2022. Between then and now three people have been let go. The first to be let go was only there for a month. The second was there for about six months and the third was let go yesterday after a little over a month. I feel this is toxic as I see this as a revolving door.
