Manager 🐠 . I am interviewing for manager role with a b4 and really want to ace it. My current firm barely does any promotions and I will be stuck at SC for a long time. When you interview a future manager, what traits do you look for?

I have manage small team (both internal and external that includes clients), done a little bit of PM work and work on 10+ RFPs each year. Want to make them confident that I am ready to cross the bridge. Thank you 😊

I have interviews lined up for both the organisations in few days.

How do you define work-life balance? And how much of that balance is reasonable to expect for someone with ~2 YOE, be that in the Big 4 or in smaller niche/boutique firms?

How soon is too soon to leave consulting to result a red flag? I have been consulting only for a year and considering an exit .. Wondering if I’ll be able to boomerang again.

Hi all, I’m currently a tenured SM at ACN Strategy with an offer from BCG, for a Principal role. Should I negotiate for senior principal (I.e. the level just below equity partner), especially as BCG is very heavily looking for people?

I have Zoom job interview (not an in person) with a large multinational consultancy (but not MBB/Big 4) for a mid level role. Previous Skype interviews with them have been biz casual dress but this interview is with much higher ups and for a case study. BizCasual again or suit up? Suit seems over the top since they know I’ll be home.
