How easy is it to transfer home offices? I’m in advisory and signed on with a client for another 6+ months. Looking to move in September.
Why won’t the M&A people spend 3 minutes talking to the antitrust/regulatory clearance people before promising the client we’ll be able to close in a week? This will take another 30 days at least
Hello Fishes. Need honest opinions.
I got promoted to Senior Con this year. Rating - Strong in both, Client and Metrics. Service line - SAP.
I am holding an offer from SAP SDC for 50% hike on my current base. I understand the hike % at Deloitte in May won't be as high as 50%.
Thinking of making the switch to SAP. However, I'm a bit perturbed as I've built a great network here with Ms and SMs. Shall I ask Deloitte to match the CTC being offered by SAP?
When you check-in at 1am cause you have to be in 2 client sites this week; and a fight breaks out at the hotel lobby - sadly the most action I've seen this week! Thanks Sheraton Philly
I joined Accenture few days back as level 9. Till now didn't get any project. I have one more offer from another company and have not told them that I joined Accenture.
Should I wait for Accenture to allot me project or shall I abscond?
I am worried since I joined Accenture as level 9 team lead and what if they fire me? Or map to some irrelevant project?
How is the Dell project in EY(technology stack and work-life balance), I am looking to join as a full-stack engineer? Also, is there any on-site opportunity in EY for software developers?
Which one will be good to join for SAP technical consultant having 5.6yr experience?

Naked and Afraid has the Personal Survival Rating (PSR). What's your Consulting Client Excellence (CCE) Rating and why?
What's the going rate for a DP these days? Non union, commercial, large market. I know it varies a ton based on the project/person/budget but I'm trying to get a sense of a reasonable range.
I’m on a project where the senior analyst on my team constantly asks me for an update on when a report will be done. The offshore team is creating the report and knows the timing better than me. I tell them to connect with them to get a better understanding of timing and the analyst then asks me to connect with them which annoys tf out of me bc if you want the info, go get it from the source. How do I kindly tell them to go and ask herself?
Me: Things are a little chill, and maybe now I have time to work on some non-client work in an industry I'm actually interested in. Also Me: Aah stop giving me work! I want to go back to chilling 🙈🤦
Working on a finance case study needing to calculate NPVs for two projects. How should I treat “corporate resource” salaries, sunk costs or incremental? This would make the diff. between the 2 project
Anyone know who does the Saucey (alcohol delivery) OOH campaign? Just saw the headline “Keep your fridge stocked and your IBS kickin’”. Must be a pretty chill client! 😛
I was talking to a first year at a different consulting firm who mentioned that even as a first year, he gets plenty of project staffing options. Is this the norm? I got pigeonholed early
Can't tell if I'm slow or I need an analyst on this project. I get that deadlines are always "yesterday" but does anyone have any advice for how best to answer this question?
Just had to vent a little. It’s only week 1 of my new project and I’m exhausted working with my analyst colleague. She’s super super super intense to the point where she asks me what I’m working on & when I’ll be done with something I said I’ll do even in the evenings. I love her initiative and willingness to go above and beyond but I wish she would just focus on her work stream and leave me TF alone when it’s after 7pm if it’s not urgent. I’m stressed even just thinking about tomorrow with her
So this consultant reporting to me is very smart and capable but the way he talks sounds very “cocky” and not very “sweet”. Client seems to like him a lot. What can I do to roll him off ?
Anyone know anything about The Lab Consulting? Reached out to me for an interview but never heard of them
I know 90% of you are reasonable and drive Civics. But are there any big car guys out there? And if so, any of you buy cars you can pay for, but not necessarily “afford” i.e. 80k salary and 50k car?
I think I may be getting a little too old for thirsty Thursdays, need to slow down a little bit Friday morning hangovers are getting worse 😣
I know someone that is still employed at a big 4 firm but has available time and rather than giving notice he accepted a position and has already started at another B4. Cont....

What’s the standard protocol of fixing/ patching holes in walls when moving out of an apartment? I’m looking at the lease and it’s very vague.
Spiteful till the very end
My firm has FTO, but I already have scheduled like 5.5 weeks and want to take more. I’m planning on leaving this year so do I just send it?
I recently got a job offer at a smaller company. They said the range was $85,000 to $120,000. When I got my offer letter it was $93,000 and no sign on bonus possible.
I feel like I’m getting low balled. The position is a senior business system analyst role with a lot of responsibilities.
The job had also been posted for 2 months and they seem really happy to have me. Is asking for $105,000-$110,000 doing too much? Any suggestions for a “respectable counter offer”?
500 rs in wellbeing suggest something! 😬
