Curious, anyone works or has worked in the PCS group at Marks Paneth? If so, what is the culture like, perks, hours, comp for a senior? Considering on applying but just want to get some insight scoop. Thanks!
How do the pension benefits work for partners/principals at the big 4? Can anyone share details on vesting rules or calculations? I assume it varies from firm to firm…just wanting to understand the difference with what Accenture offers MD’s (401k, VEIP).
Anyone have a sense (through friends or job hunting) what c-level of a sizeable nonprofit is paid? Wondering comp ranges for that career. Think ceo of org w $50M+ budget and hundreds of employees
I recently moved to Sweden to work as a consultant. But I'm facing problems with all documents issuing processes, that take too long, and without all the documents I can't open a bank account to receive my salary. I'm starting to freak out about this. It seems it's a common situation for foreigners but most consultant companies don't do much for help us - I know some people that only received their salaries after 3 months. As I'm too stressed about it, I can't sleep well and focus at work...
I’m an incoming AC1 at Bain and I have spent the summer studying a bit for the GMAT since we had a stipend. I took it with no practice and received a 640. After studying on an off for a couple of months I received a 690. I’m likely going to cancel the score since I realize it isn’t enough for M7. To provide some more insight on my profile. I graduated undergrad from UofM BBA Magna Cum Laude, have interned in Big 4 consulting, IB, and VC, and I’m an Asian-American. What should I do?
What to do when HR for an in-house role sends you an email with four interviews set up for next week without having had a phone conversation first? I have no sense of what the salary is for this role. I do not want to waste my time or the time of the four people I am scheduled to interview with. I thought that with most in-house roles, there would be a conversation about that first to make sure everyone is on the same page. 😩
Hi, any inside of a typical salary for a team leader of midsized quant teams -around 30 people?
Anyone have insight into the compensation range for a “Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultant” role at ZS?

Having trouble navigating salary for a top end plaintiffs law firm salary for senior associate position (2012 grad). Mainly handling class actions and MDLs. I’ve only been in single events practice so it’s a whole new world salary wise. Any suggestions so as to what to ask for to not low ball myself? Thanks in advance!
Do Big 4 give more time to settle down in the new job compared to a mid size? Does it work the same way when people are asked to improve before the firing i.e, big 4 gives more time to improve?
What is the range for a senior consultant in Advisory (FRA)? Currently at 100k (another big 4) in the dc area so what kind of bump should i expect
Anyone work or know someone that works at Riveron? Thinking about switching from big 4 audit to do consulting there but don’t know much about it
I'm going to be in a tax group in the summer (intern) and was wondering how a specialist tax group would fare in this economy? It's under the tax umbrella but has consulting elements (m&a tax)
Is a $25k pay bump enough to move to EY? I’m debating if it’s worth leaving my current company where we get per diem (extra income if you spend smart) vs. Going to EY where you submit actuals.
Anyone have any tips for switching from midsized to firm to big law in Chicago? Litigation, non equity partner that is going nowhere at my current firm. Doing insurance defense but have significant trial, deposition and discovery experience.
Just negotiated a 35% salary bump and promo for my new job!!! Used to be too afraid to negotiate. Just sharing my news to motivate someone else and bc I’m just dang excited! 😬😩🤪
VC interview tomorrow, with maybe more rounds to follow. What key questions should I ask as I'm getting to know the firm?
Need help ladies :) I feel I am being paid very less as compared to my peers and other team members. I was the only one on the team from last 4-5 months and have handled everything by myself including coding to daily BAU tasks. How do I go about asking the leadership to increase my compensation? Also, my manager is very demanding and has suggested me not to talk to the CRO about my compensation. Don’t know what to do 😳
First time ever I will have to work 7 days a week during busy season to meet client deadlines.
I’m a 1st year prob 1 teacher & I just found out I’m pregnant (due mid-June). Definitely NOT planned and VERY stressed nervous. It’s hard to be happy right now. Advice on telling my principal, etc?
Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!
Has anyone found the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification to be helpful for people in non-technical roles? Any experience in how potential employers view this cert would be greatly appreciated!
I’m still fuzzy on this whole innovation thing. People are still getting hired to the role. What do they do? They seem to be nothing more than pundits. Someone else could be hired for that salary.
Left Deloitte audit after my M1 year. Thinking coming back after two years of industry. Think Deloitte will give me credit for M2 and M3 and come back as SM1? FP&A Manager role for last 2 years
I was on opt from July 2020 to July 2021. I got my h1b approved in 2020 and chose to activate it via the consular processing method. I left the US in Jul 2021 and will finally visit the embassy for stamping tomorrow. If successful, does it mean that I could get another company to apply for a h1b transfer right away? Or do I have to enter the US before the h1b transfer process can start? Thanks!
I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?
Thoughts on GS+P as an intern/junior?

Anyone at b4 merge your phone number to the company issued cell phone? Do they get to keep your number if you leave? I’ve had the same phone number my entire life and don’t want to lose it…not that I ever plan on leaving.
