Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

Hi! I’m new here.
New to Fishbowl?

I think it's ridiculous! We shouldn't have to require any type of vaccines IMO, especially ones that haven't been fully proven and tested
If my child's pediatrician recommends it.

This thread is off to a very depressing start, but it illustrates how we managed to rack up over a million deaths and counting from this virus.

I think that we need to stop stirring this pot. It is time for us all to heal and move on. I’m not interested in arguing with my colleagues over this or wasting one more breath on this. Please let it go.

Riiiiiiiight.

I haven't been vaccinated and have no plans to do so. I've been in the service, so I've gotten more inoculations than people who haven't, but I just don't believe these vaccines are as effective as they should be and I am not comfortable with the adverse events I've read about. I have no problems with people who get do vaccinated or wear masks. But none for me, thanks.

History shows that if that's done by vaccination, it happens with a lot less death.
And still, we've got people applauding each other for choosing the "more death" option.
We have tread this ground before many times so I don’t see much here left to rehash.
But I will play anyway.
This has become a matter of faith for people. Faith in the government vs faith in a scientific method that has been abandoned. And as the vaccines show a lack of effectiveness and vaccine injuries mount, more and more people are getting red pilled.
This makes a certain amount of sense to me. It seems like you see it more as a lack of trust in current scientific claims and government choices than as a resistance to the ‘idea’ of mandated vaccines. This line of thinking does a lot to explain why there would be an outcry now when, historically, there hasn’t been a proportional outcry against other mandated vaccinations. 🤔
Just No.
My family and I had covid early on before vaccines were ready. I chose not to get the vaccine because I already had natural immunity. Natural immunity has proven as effective as any man-made immunity in everything else, so I am willing to trust that this one virus would not behave differently. My husband and oldest son chose to get the vaccine; my other two children chose not to also. While nobody has had it a second time ( to our knowledge...we don't test ourselves over every sniffle), my husband and son chose not to get the boosters. None of us get a yearly flu shot, and none of us are willing to get a yearly covid shot. Not when prevention is not guaranteed and the strain keeps changing. Also, people keep saying the covid vaccine is FDA approved; but there is not a covid vaccine in the U.S. that is FDA approved for anything other than emergency use still.
WVHS1 - This was not the case in my area, but an interesting fact. I suppose it may be that the ‘sub-strain’ in your area showed more non-symptomatic cases than I witnessed. We had a lot of kids on quarantine just because they were exposed, but only 1 or 2 of the exposures ever tested positive for each identified cluster, and usually those were the household/close social group exposures.
They absolutely need to be mandated for anyone who works at or attends a school.
Then don’t teach
Tough call. The disease is mutating into a less virulent dominant strain, but is still more dangerous than the annual flu. Less dangerous than other diseases we require vaccines for, like pertussis and diphtheria. I think we have to wait and see. If death rates go up, then yes, mandate the vaccine for attendance.

The Covid vaccine is effective- if you want to live.
Because like the flu, it is ever changing and will never be eradicated. Vaxxed or not, you can still get Covid. Unvaxxed doesn’t automatically indicate hospitalization, the majority do not end up in the hospital.
Odd little personal fact, and not for science, my co-worker and I are the only unvaxxed and have not had Covid. All of my co-workers are vaxxed and have had Covid, to varying degrees of severity.
MES1 - Thanks for sharing your point of view. I hadn’t thought about the fact that most of our currently mandated vaccines are against fairly ‘stable’ illnesses, and don’t require frequent updates to address mutations. I wish I had students whose parents conscientiously objected to vaccines, instead I have students who are sent home for a couple of weeks until their busy blue-collar parents are actually able to schedule doctors appointments to get their child’s vaccinations up to date. 😪
why is noone mentioning myocarditis?
Chief
So childish.
There is still going to be a religious exemption, personal exemption, and medical in CA. Not quite sure what in the Bible makes an exemption, when most likely those types of christians already ignore many Biblical practices. Not a good idea to base your health on political nonsense. I loved Trevor Noah at the White House Correspondence dinner when he was proud to announce that all folks in attendance had to show proof of vaccinations (and that all of FOX news were there.) What hypocrites to get their shots and then decry them on air.
Nyes1, sarcasm
if it becomes mandatory i will leave my job...my body my choice!

Cool, you must be pro choice, then!!!

I was at my rheumatologist today. He told me that Covid cases are on the rise and warned me. He hasn’t done that in awhile?
He also reminded me that long Covid is a real thing, and it’s the last thing I need (or anyone) 🤷🏻♀️
Nope. I’m not doing it. Period. That’s it.

Here's some information about myocarditis after vaccinations, and myocarditis after covid infections.

Yep. It's a real thing. Just a much lower risk than going unvaccinated.

As I find out I have 2 positive cases in my room…..
The vaccines didn’t receive full medical licensure and approval. They received a BLA approval from HHS to introduce said biologic into interstate commerce under Emergency Use Authorization as an experimental drug.
The approval from the FDA and HHS to Pfizer was for the manufacture, marketing and distribution and of the company’s BioNTech COVID19 Vaccine rebranded as COMIRNATY within the United States.
The August 23, 2021 letter from the FDA to Pfizer’s Mr. Amit Patel clearly states, on page 1 paragraphs 1 and 2, that this is an approval of their BLA Licence Application under HHS approved license No. 2229, which allows for the manufacture, marketing, and distribution of the Pfizer BioNTech COVID19 vaccine in the United States as COMIRNATY. https://www.fda.gov/media/151710/download
The FDA’s website confirms this approval standing under their definition of a BLA (Biologics License Application) approval which is a request for permission to introduce, or deliver for introduction, a biologic product into interstate commerce (21 CFR 601.2). https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/development-approval-process-cber/biologics-license-applications-bla-process-cber
MSMT1 - A BLA is how the FDA approves drugs. Drugs that are not fully approved do not receive BLA approval and are not able to be marketed under a brand name.
