Hi French consultants! Got into a tech startup (in Paris) after 3yrs at a top consulting company and I’m figuring out salary expectations. Anyone else in a similar situation? What is your salary?
5 YOE post-undergrad with $250K TC at a boutique firm. What (realistic) roles would get me in a similar ballpark of compensation, excluding MBB or PE?
An independent recruiter reached out to me for an agency role and I know they’ll ask for my salary expectations. (Continued)
What are some nice affordable family-friendly cities to live in? Living in NYC is starting to make a hole in my wallet, and it's even more difficult on one salary.
What is the salary range for senior accounting positions in DMV area with McKinsey experience and clearance?
Am I required to share a copy of my employment agreement with a company who is working on an offer letter? I don't want them to see my current salary. They are asking for non-compete/non-solicitation/ confidentiality agreements which I'm assuming would all be in my employment contract.
What’s best way to reply to a recruiters email asking about salary expectations? Do I provide a range now or just say negotiable and would rather discuss over the phone?

We keep hearing “It’s attrition season, the market is competitive, and it’s happening everywhere.” It’s not untrue, but it also isn’t the whole story. Besides the obvious (salary/title), what has kept you at your agency? What else could leadership or managers be doing to keep talent? If you left recently, why?
Anyone know about comp and interview process for the Google strategy and operations associate role? The estimates say average around 130k (Glassdoor)?Google
Current Comp is 84K, what is a reasonable exit comp I should go for with 2 years of experience?
Is it bad to jump ship to another agency if you know you’re going to leave within a year? It’s a promo and would increase my salary by at least $50k, but I know I want to leave advertising for good. I’ve been trying to interview outside of advertising but nothing has happened yet. I figured I might as well get paid way more while I figure it out. And the title bump should help, right? If I’m wrong, I’m all ears.
What percent salary increase would you need to take a lower title? Expecting an offer from a smaller firm and they indicated they would offer in a range for the role I interviewed for but they’d want me to take a lower title (my title on here is out of date and firm titles are wonky but think Director to Sr Mgr).
Just wondering. With most companies staying somewhat remote/being more open to employees doing this. If you move, is it standard for companies to increase your salary to the cost of living in the city you move to? I know larger agencies probably do but what about smaller agencies that definitely have the money to do so
If you’ve interviewed and received and offer with Meta were you able to negotiate your base salary?
What is the compensation scheme for a SPAC sponsor? In addition to salary, how much would you get paid upon a successful de-SPAC? I assume its much lower now as the market seems oversaturated than compared to 1-2 years ago.
What should you do if you get an offer for little more than you are already making? Been going through a 1.5 month interview process for large RE brokerage company, even told them how much I’m currently making (yes, I know, a mistake) and they only offered total comp 4% greater than I already make. I was thinking that for an external move, it should be closer to 20%. Suggestions for negotiating around this that doesn’t spook them?

Does Accenture Strategy accept lateral hires from competing firms? Wondering for someone who specifically has 2 years of consulting experience.
If you are hot af, would you still work as a management consultant or a social media influencer assuming you make around similar amount of money
Bi people, how do manage being out at work, esp. in our business? People assume that I'm straight & I feel like a sham by not correcting them. But as a woman, coming out has lead to unwanted advances.
