Thinking of taking a trip to Colombia in late Jan for my bday. Is this a good time to go?
I’m just starting my research to put together an itinerary, but would love recos from anyone who’s been. It will likely be two of us (both women). Interested in history, art, food, nightlife, beaches, festivals! Also, Airbnb vs Hotel? …Any personal experiences are much appreciated. TIA 😊
Hyatt - most valuable points
Both Marriott and Hilton have been taken to the wood chipper during Covid. Staffing and cleanliness have been cut.
Hilton:no more free breakfast, just a small credit
Marriott: dynamic award pricing starting next year 🤮
Hyatt is where it’s at.

Marriott, because way more options
Hyatt is the best program by miles, but has the smallest footprint.
I understand the point redemption at Hyatt is best but the fraction of the options of Marriott has me still choose Marriott. So even expanding the question outside of the two OP specifically asked about, I still say Marriott.
Currently with Hilton and only book locations that offer free breakfast (most of which does). Colleagues recommended moving to Marriot, cos they give free upgrade to suites, when a standard room is booked.

Took effect in July, but they did just increase it. Credit varies by brand, but good luck covering a full breakfast.
