What’s everyone’s experience been with required predeparture covid tests in the us through major pharmacies, like cvs and Walgreens? Are results coming back in time for travel?
Does anyone have any experience with the United Chase Explorer card? Does the free checked bag apply to international flights (specifically to Europe)? If I book basic economy, would I still get that checked bag + a carry on? How does seat selection work on basic? What priority boarding group is associated with this card? I’m assuming the card alone will not make you eligible for upgrades, does the united club card do this? The explorer card is pretty cheap annually, but is this even worth it?
Is being lied to during an interview something common? And we are talking about night and day for workload, travel %, clients and the list goes on and on?

Please help me decide: Option 1 - stay at current big 4, get promoted this year, current comp $91k. ( project 20% increase with promotion would be like $110k) Option 2 - jump to a fairly large credit union now, lateral move no title bump, comp becomes $110k

In my first year as an audit associate I got rated bottom bucket in every category. I think this traumatized me. I have since jumped firms and constantly get great reviews. Even got a mid year promotion one year. But I can’t help but think I’m on the verge of being fired.
Hello all! I'd like to know about the Cloud Support Intern program for women who have had to take a break from their jobs. Are there any chances of becoming a permanent employee?
I just started at a new company 2 months ago with the expectation of having 3-4 people on my team. However, my team size will be increasing to 7. I don’t really want to rock the boat so early at my new job especially since I’m still in the “drinking from the firehose” phase, but this is going to be a significant increase in responsibility. We only have pay review in January of each year. Would it be crazy to ask about a raise later this month?
Have any of you asked for a higher salary at your firm? Did it work out? I enjoy working at my firm and have a good relationship with the partners but would like to match salary offers from others.
I’m mid-level in my HR career at my current company and an upcoming Master’s graduate. Studying for my SHRM-CP too. How did you make the transition to that next level? What skills do you need, or is it really just based on YOE (I am the youngest compared to my teammates, many who have 10+ YOE)? I feel like career pathing is not very clear at my company. Each time I ask for guidance on this from my manager, I get told they’ll look into it.... would love some external mentorship and thoughts 🙏🏼
Im underpaid & its driving me crazy. But Im going through a mental health crisis, and in turn physically & mentally cannot look for another job and uproot my life. How do I deal vs feed the spiraling?
Switch to another consulting firm for 20-25% raise + bonus but same level (manager) or wait for promotion at EY this year but still less money. Doesn't look like EY will match the competing offer.

Any foster moms out there? I’m curious if companies provide parental leave to support new fostering relationships? Have your companies been supportive of the time commitment during work hours?
Hi everyone! I’m a young CPA, relocating to Raleigh. I made the decision to transition into sales after realizing that I want to bring more fun into my career. I’m currently reading sales books, watching Keenan’s YouTube channel, and learning all I can. I’m relentlessly applying for SDR positions but I’m having trouble landing interviews (been applying through LinkedIn). I would appreciate advice from anyone who transitioned from another industry into sales. How did you break the barrier?
Are you having issues with Hiring Managers refusing to hire Permanent Remote employees? Job Seekers want "flexibility" and they will find Companies that offer it. I can't get some Hiring Managers to understand this and that's why TA is struggling to fill positions.
Hello! My sister lives with another girl in San Diego and someone started leaving flowers on their front door (apartment has its own staircase but is open to courtyard). They got a ring camera and they have seen him walk to their door and drop off flowers when they turn the lights out….super creepy! He wears a baseball cap so you can’t see his face. He quickly drops the flowers off and then walks back out. What should they do 😪
Interested in finding a referral to EY, of course only if my resume looks satisfactory (no feeling hurt, if not.) Aiming for SC or manager position doing public sector, DC is ideal. Cont
