Mars & co or KPMG Strategy. Which one has better exit? Post MBA entry role

I think the KPMG name will still carry more weight and have a larger network to work with. I personally think the work at Mars might be more interesting but limited to a smaller number of clients. Promotions probably similar. So I think the comp is an important factor as long as you liked the people somewhat equally.

Marginally better exits not worth 30k a year no chance

Disagree with K1. Coming up on two years in the strat practice and I’d recommend it. I agree with D1’s assessment. And I’d add that the partners and MDs at KPMG strat typically bring a more prestigious brand (lot of ex-BCG, Booz, Bain) for what it’s worth. If you haven’t heard it yet, our senior leaders like to brag that we’re the only Big 4 that built a new strategy practice internally instead of acquiring one...because we just acquired the partners from other firms instead. Can’t give you any insight on exit ops. I know recruiters reach out to me regularly, but not sure how that is relative to Mars & Co.

Right out of MBA. Offers are for consultant for Mars and I think SC for KPMG. That is their standard mba entry positions

@Consultant 1 Mars & co comp (all in) would be lower by 30k to 40k. Are exits that much better?

OW1 Thanks. Good to know that exits are only marginal.

I would go to Mars.

KPMG 1 Would you elaborate please?

So EY LAW said there are risk traveling to Puerto Rico without a visa stamp even though it’s a territory and that travel should be kept to absolute necessary ones at this time. I understand from a lot of threads that there are no threats traveling to PR immigration wise but is it wise to disregard what they are explicitly asking one to do? They also asked to keep travel advisories in mind if I still plan on traveling there.
