I think that depends on how big the pay cut is, how high cost of living is in your area, and how much remote work will increase your quality of life. No right answer, really depends on your personal values.
Oh! You made the transition too! Did you go from paralegal to RN for vise versa?
What's most important to you? Are you tired of patient care, or would you miss it? If working from home is important to you, then the pay cut could definitely be worth it. What are you leaning towards?
I'm an NP who currently hates her hospital. Moving to a new state and applying to telehealth roles currently. Bit of a paycut, for sure, but I won't be struggling financially so it's bearable for me and I know the WLB and being out of that toxic environment is worth it.
Hi you have to look at how much you spend traveling to and from work, also if you have to pay for parking,so take all of that into account.
Good Luck.
That's a pretty solid point actually, the commute cost would end up making it even out potentially
Depends on your plans and priorities. Full-time remote jobs best fit people with children so they can do their work and be with their kids at the same time.
