You are so far out in left field. She is going to be treated like everyone else. The client could give 2 shits what she previously did. They want the project to have end results and be delivered on time and on budget. She will not care about her past either, it's a chapter in her life that is ending and she is probably eager to start a new one
If you worked at McK, fine. But you don't know shit. Folks at McK actually do know something about this topic and you write us off like we googled it. You're the one making assumptions and jumping to conclusions about something you saw on TV. And for everyone else that wonders why there is minimal presence from MBB on here... I give you OP. Any questions?
Now she'll format slides 12 hrs a day
^ silver ain't gonna cut it, she's formatting unless she lands a gold
They just showed the McKinsey sign really fast as part of the background when they were giving her story. It makes sense.. she is a Stanford grad, 23, and an Olympian :)
Calm down OP. She's starting as a BA. She will be making slides just like all other BAs.
Can we vote OP off the island here?
Welp, this girl supersedes my reasons for existing. Kinda like Ryan Fitzpatrick. Outscored me by 10 points on the SAT and has also thrown about 150 more NFL touchdown passes than I have.
Someone should invite her to FB
At trials, Rowdy Gaines kept saying she had a "high profile management consulting job" after the olympics lined up...
Confused as to why she won't be formatting slides. Just because you get a perfect score on the math SAT doesn't mean you go straight to partner
She will be miserable like the rest of us
Pretty sure she is not the first new hire at McKinsey with good sat scores and a rich daddy
Naw.. the girl is an overachiever and comes from money so I am sure she is making bank and will not be starting at the bottom.
Why wouldn't she start at the bottom? Just because she can swim and has money doesn't mean she has the skills to do a job above analyst. I hope McKinsey wouldn't risk that
She will be a BA. No question. She will get paid the same as all BAs straight out of undergrad. No question. Stop acting like you know. I can confirm this is all true.
She is joining as a business analyst
OP as smart as she may be, I'm confident there are classes full of analysts just as capable. Smart does not equate to already having the skills necessary to do higher level jobs
Who gives a shit. Girl from my college played hockey and brought back the gold. Then after 3 months big deal.
Once you leave the 12th grade, nobody gives a shit about your sat scores,
Why do you think she's such an all star, for all we know she will suck at it, people coming in from undergrad don't know shit, she may be able to rise quickly or not, she will be the same as all the other new hires starting out, fuck she's a swimmer the only time anybody gives a shit is every 4 years even for phelps
