Tata Consultancy Hi fishies, I recently interviewed for a Big data dev role for Autodesk but it's via a third party called Applicantz. Initially the contract is for 1 year, which can be extended. There is also scope of Autodesk hiring permanently after 6 months or 1 year. Can anyone provide some reviews about Autodesk and third party Applicantz. Usually I would not have considered anything via a third party, but the company(Autodesk) seems great and work discussed seems good as well.

This isn't a stupid question because the two above gave the wrong answer. You can say your clients by name if public. There is no law that says you can't. Additionally, the 2 pa firms (1 big 4) I have worked for have no policy where you can't disclose.
Agree with this. I think best practice for resume/linkedin is what D1 said, don't name them but mention industry and market cap. However, in conversation it's fine to talk about your public clients.
No I don’t think you can name any clients
Not by name but by industry, market cap etc... example "prepared returns or audited bank with revenues of x.
Yes you can disclose who you work on if in audit. Isn’t a secret who gets by audited by whom. If it is m&a or consulting may have to be more careful

I think if your interview story is about how the client is a mess and how you fixed it, then obviously you don’t want to mention names. Or if you are going to get into details about their operations, same thing out of respect I guess. From my view it’s always less about the pool icy, but more about if the interviewer will view you as being not discrete.
