Forgot to turn on cabin pressure....
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Former lawyer here, where we did itemize bills per call and elaborate on what was discussed in the bill. They don't learn anyway.
At the end of the day this is not money coming out of someone’s personal bank account; it’s budgetary funny money. Spending it doesn’t inflict personal pain or consequence to the parties in the meeting so the behavior would never change.

D1: I have had great private sector clients. One incredible email: a client cc-ed his boss (our senior client) to add clout. Instead the senior guy replied ‘stop bothering the consultants. Their day rate is half your monthly salary’.
