Team just applied for a TS Clearance (defense agency). Trying to assess if it makes sense to wait till the clearance comes through (6 months to a year?) before I job hop. I'm hoping to get some clarity on the following:
1. Can my company withdraw or cancel my clearance if I leave right after I secure a TS?
2. In terms of compensation, how much value (% compensation) does a TS clearance have in the DC area? Places I'm considering: AWS, Azure, GCP, Data bricks, Appian etc.

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Is moving from Product management to management consulting a right move given the future growth and compensation ? I have around 11 plus years of IT experience largely in Product Management.When I see LinkedIn profile of management consultants I see few of them get hired on C level positions in other companies but do not see that for Product manager except starting their own startup.Need suggestions if i should keep this transition dream or not
