MBB EM/PL/CTLs what are your hours/work lives like these days? Traveling much or still hybrid?

Anyone ever exit MBB to join PE in an Operations role? What was the experience like? Would people recommend this route? Is the $ similar?

How hard MBB interviews actually are? From 1 to 10 being hardest. How would you rate it?

Is strategy consulting (even MBB) losing it's charm nowadays with the world moving more towards implementation projects and better opportunities available outside which have good pay as well as better WLB?

Something like what happened with IB roles which were all the rage in B Schools few years back but now have tapered off a lot.

Are consulting exit opportunities really as good as people say? I feel like any time I look into people in interesting strategic roles in industry, they’re almost exclusively from either Investment Banking or MBB but nowhere else

How common is it to get a decent-sized merit scholarship from M7? I’m coming from MBB but not sure I want to commit myself to returning after I get my MBA and also don’t want to have to take out a bunch of loans.
(3.97 from T15 undergrad and 760 GMAT if that helps)

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I think that long-arm statutes are terrible for our system. You shouldn't be able to file in the state that you live in. As a policy matter, I feel the default should always be where the defendant lives unless the contract states otherwise.

Is it better to specialize in a certain part of the military to learn all the nuances of it?

My confession is that I have seen the medical field change so much over the past 20 years, that it's unrecognizable in both good and bad ways. More people are leaving than staying, and I am worried the quality of care is dwindling. Came to consulting because I thought it was where the moneys at. Seems like if you’re at B4 and non MBA the pay is at or below average an industry job of same level. Is it worth sticking around to try and climb the ranks, or just leave now and climb in the industry job?
