Feeling like this
I applied for some senior positions at AbbVie online 2 weeks ago. The status appears as “resume received” for some positions, status of one position appears as “under review” while another position shows “in progress”. Any idea how long their hiring team takes to get back following the application?

No, salary doubles if you're worth the skills..not because you have an MBA (or whatever else)
I understand, as a point of clarification, I mean assuming you’re promoted on schedule and not counseled out.
Salary increase is dependent on getting promoted to the next level.
Having an MBA is not the determining factor at BCG.
Many partners started after undergrad and worked their way up without getting an MBA.
I think so. At BCG if you get promoted to a Consultant from Associate you’d get C pay too, even without MBA. If you don’t get promoted within that time frame, you’d be transitioned out anyway.
At Bain if you get a direct promote (from SAC to C1) you get the same C1 pay as those who went to Bschool. However, it is harder to make manager and keep advancing without an MBA, they are strongly recommended.
You can be EM here is 3 years post UG... plenty of comp, more than double.
Somehow no one from BCG understood the questions. The answer is yes - after two years as an A you will be promoted to C, which is 2x the comp
Correct

Obviously, getting promoted without one is extremely difficult- otherwise, why get an MBA?
It is not difficult for us... at all. I’d bet most of our sponsorees go to MBA at 2-3.5 years, after they’ve been promoted to the post MBA role.
^yes. Exactly as B4 said it is not difficult, there is absolutely no requirement. The numbers are skewed because the majority of our associate class voluntarily attrites (startup, PE, school, etc) - but if you are going a good job, it’s an easy promo
