I'm working to build my companies first ever internship program.
Does anyone have tips, do's/don'ts or other suggestions as to how I can make it as successful as possible for the selected students?
Planning to have 5 over the summer of 2022 as a start.
Met a CIO of a VC firm for black beauty brands (like my own brand) who was interested in recruiting me as a venture associate - I would directly be working with her and a contracted finance team for due diligence comp analysis etc. after calling her she said they’d want to do a 90 day project before fully hiring me for the role. The thing is its also during the cycle of other jobs like MBB that I was also hoping to apply for. Should I take the 90 day paid project is that common practice in VC?
I'm trying to find a industrial product design internship in Europe but most of the companies are replying that they don't take non-EU citizens. Anybody know about any vacancies or can recommend me?
MBB folks - do you really reject candidates who make a math/ calculation error during a case interview?
Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.
Got an offer for a tier 2 firm and accepted it. Are there any actual risks of getting my offer revoked if I apply to mbb?
Is it expected to have extensive internship experience to apply for entry level/graduate scheme roles? I am in my final bachelors year and I already have experience in a tech startup (6 months), Accenture (4 months) and even an episode of running my own e-commerce business (5 months) and I still feel like I don’t have enough
Non traditional ways to enter buyside(PE/VC)? Other than coming from BB/EB IB or MBB, what are other replicable ways to get into established investing roles? Does this change based on level (associate vs partner)
Hi Y'all, sorry to jump in here uninvited as I'm not a part of MBB. I wanted to get your opinion on a firm to get a perspective on if it's a good opportunity or not. Have any of you heard of Stax?
Have an upcoming interview for a specialist consultant position with MBB. Any tips on the interview process or idea on comp range?

Pros and Cons from MBB to mid market PE?
Has anyone ever gone backwards by getting an internship at a desired work place/dream job and getting a pay cut? But then you’ll be a permanent employee working up the ladder in desired work place/dream job
Are there different MBB recruiters based on different regions e.g Midwest/South etc or a lead recruiter overlooking hiring process?
Is anyone at FCB who could answer some questions about their Integrated Production Internship? Thank you in advance!
Is it recommended to do an internship during second year of University?( Or the summer break after second year)

I’m planning to transition into IT (I have business administration background). Started studying CompTIA+ and hope to get my Security+ certificate in the future. I’ve heard somewhere that I need to know how to code at least in one language, such as Python. Do I really need to learn programming too? I know a bit of front end development. Should that be enough?😅
I have been searching for job from quite a long time and all I have seeing HR/Panels asking for
1. Number of implementation projects done.
2. Work experience on S4 Hana.
And if I don't have atleast any one of these, I will not be considered.
Is it really that important ?
Being joined as a fresher - Is it really something that I can decide whether to be in support or implementation project ?
Is upgrading of ECC to S4 Hana in my hands ? And the difference is really that vast ?
Hello Fishes, this is a this vs that question. EY GDS Vs PwC India For around 12 YOE in SAP/S4HANA domain, which one do you think one should opt for?
EY is giving Scon3 while PWC is giving manager (although the pkg offered by PWC is less as compared to EY, which is a bit strange)

Any advice on overcoming language barriers? I just started a new role and am already struggling interpreting some of my coworkers’ English. They are from Russia. I want to approach this in the right way and make sure I don’t offend anyone if I ask them to clarify or explain that I’m not understanding. My boss is from the U.S. so I thought about just asking her to help me translate. I can include an example from an email in the comments. Thanks all in advance!

I am one of 2 Sr. MA within my department. We were instructed to conduct JCHO Readiness Inspections at all locations. Now both me and this other Sr. MA are black women. The MA that we decided to speak with first was a white woman. While we were going over some things that she needed to brush up on, this Medical Assistant said "I feel like I'm being attacked." I closed my laptop and walked out the office. Now I am being targeted as if I've done something wrong. What do I do?

Is it typical to get a year end raise, even if you are not getting promoted? For example, I’ve been at my current rank for one year and am close to next level. My value is higher since I am more experienced but still billed as a senior analyst. Is it reasonable to ask my employer for a raise? My reasoning as follows:
- My work quality has significantly improved since last year
- 90% utilized this year
- Current pay is below market value
- No harm in asking
