Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
My job said I can expense AWS Cloud Practitioner certification but I don’t know where to go from here? Do I sign up on Amazon somewhere? Where do I get study material? Etc

Anyone go from MBB/T2 to MBA school and do something OTHER than return to consulting / go for high finance? Curious what your return on making that decision is and if it’s ever worth going if you’re already in consulting. Seems like most non-Consulting or IB jobs you could just skip the MBA.

Hi all, has anyone in supply chain taken one of the certification exams? (CPSM, CPSD, CSCP) Does it help in any way besides refreshing contents about supply chain? I was thinking might be a good way to strengthen my resume (most of my career in investment analysis) but not really sure if it really brings that much value. Any insights appreciated. #supplychain #cpsm #cpsd #cscp #education #certifications
Working at ACN right now, 2 YOE. Will pivoting over to a startup in a more software sales-based role for another 2 years before my MBA (and moving internationally for this) add to, or take away from my story? I’m thinking: Cons: less brand recognition, shows I didn’t stick around long enough to show progression, strength of recommenders, lower pay Pros: international experience, less conventional background and shows I have a more diversified skill, probably more impact @ a startup. Thoughts?
Curious the pay difference. What general pay range (US) can someone with 3-5 years of PMO/functional consulting for SAP S4HANA Cloud & On Prem experience expect at a big 4 firm with an MBA(not that having the MBA matters a ton)?
