Just recieved a offer from Western Alliance Bank for a Senior Business Analyst role. Comp 100k but the role would be in office. I currently work remote, have unlimited PTO,and a really healthy work life balance but am being underpaid tremendously. The new role seems like it does not have healthy work life balance and many red flags have already come up. I want to grow my skills and wouldn't mind being in office as I do miss being around people. How do I vet the role before accepting?
Glad to see our nation turning out to vote, when we vote, America is at its best!
“It’s possible 85 million people could vote before Election Day and perhaps 150 million will vote in total. Ten times more mail ballots have been returned than at this point in 2016 and twice as many people have voted in-person.”

D1, lol. Might be true if I worked at Deloitte, but I don't know anyone at BCG or Bain who'd rather be at McK.
Experience hires need to drink more koolaid
We are robots.
It's not dick measuring; it simply provides context on how deep you are into the Firm koolaid.
E.g., a 1+8 analyst will require less hand holding than a 0+3 associate.
If it's just about calibrating how much management they need, can't you see it in their internal bio pages?
Yeah I would work at any MBB except McK
😂😂😂😂😂😂
We use things like "A1" and "C2" , I think it is the months thing that seems overly precise
BCG guys, obviously they need both years and months because you need length and girth in any dick measuring contest
OP, I wouldn't want to be at McK either but being at Bain is interesting AF.
R2D2 , might be a better format
A1 there is no calibration. It's literally just a measure of your time with the Firm. Brand new hires start at 0+0 regardless of experience, because they haven't tasted the McK koolaid yet. Returning colleagues pick up where they left off.
It's really more relevant with lower tenured colleagues (especially in performance discssions).
I don't know anyone who *introduces* themselves with their tenure, but it is always amusing to come across a 28+3.
"MBB tenure is by months". Just like infants. Coincidence?
😂 always funny when the auditor throws shade
What do those numbers mean? Years in firm + years of professional experience?
Maybe OP couldn't get into McK and he's starting this thinly veiled flaming thread? 🤔
Sounds like a dumb way of stating "months in role"
MBB tenure is by month, not years. So 2+ 8 is 2 years and 8 months.
How would you calculate an experienced hire? Seems strange.
