Hello fishes
Being Scrum Master what are the requirements from Capgemini or Clients to put me to Onsite role? (Either it may be Certifications, Qualifications, External factors or any challenges anybody faced surprisingly)
Please help me here to understand, as there's discussions going on and I don't want to let go this opportunity!Capgemini

Is this a joke? Yeah I don't even need you to finish. Just go.
What’s your expertise?
Answered D2 below M1
Man people are crazy about MBB but fail to realize their non strat arms are crap. No client is going to a strat firm for tech implementation/their ds groups are nascent. If it’s in core consulting, though, def take it.
How’s the risk practice
"Can you explain why you left Accenture for McK after less than 1 year?" - said no recruiter ever
Yeah just do it!
Being a generalist at MBB vs a specialist is not the golden calf many of you think it is. Having been at MCK and B4, nobody does strategy better than MBB but b4, ACN and others do things better an dm more cost effectively than MBB can / does. All this is to say, if you want McK on your resume go but the academy is not as good as pure generalist at MCK. This will also be reflected in exits.
Not at all. However, don’t act like you did straight strategy bc they will be lying
Why not? The whole process at MBB would take longer than two rounds. I’d go for the experience. Anyways it’s just a chat.
Taking the call this Friday. D1 would it even matter if it was lateral? What about burning bridges? I really like it at ACN thus far and already jumped from Deloitte.
Curious to know what your level is, if you’re below manager, network shouldn’t be a problem.
I got the same email on LinkedIn!
It was for product development and procurement! I have been at Accenture for 2 years. I did just accept another offer last week so i did not entertain this haha
Definitely entertain the conversation
McKinsey doesn’t knock, you knock on McKinsey and they usually don’t answer. Must be hypothetical.
Keen to hear about your experiences with this! I got a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn doe the McKinsey Academy and have my first interview in two days. Let me m own if you can share some insights!
Got reached out by a recruiter for the same this week. Did you end up taking the offer? Would love to connect on the interview process
Entertain the idea at the very least with an intro call / network opportunity.
OP, how many hours were you working at ACN?
I think a lot of people want to wear a badge that they work a lot of hours. Realistically most people can still be top performers at 55-60 hours a week with some organization, planning, and strategic push back.
F yeah
Uhh yes?! They'll probably have a condition to bring you on when markets stable.
When uncle Marvin calls, you answer
Appreciate it everyone. Took the call it went well. Sharing resume and moving forward. Will keep all of this in mind
Good luck! I joined the Firm last year and it has been a transformative experience.
That’s a good point D2. I’m in T&O providing change support/expertise for SAP and Salesforce implementations, which is why I was wondering about the strat piece vs. straight tech implementation plays. I do have learning development experience which could tie into the M academy maybe, especially in this digital/virtual wfh time
What ended up happening OP?
