McKinsey & Company fish - is the interview process for an EM different from the typical MBA recruiting path? The info I received made it seem like case questions would focus more so on running a program / leadership type questions rather than the traditional cases. This doesn’t seem right?

Could you please share your personal experience: 1/ what % of interviewees are obviously not a good fit - when after the chat you just know that they are wrong for consulting 2/ % made major mistakes in case 3/ what % are kind ok w case and fit, but are not good enough 4/% that are good enough (with minor flaws) 5/ great and you know that they will fit

Hi all, how far back does background check go for McK EH @ Associate level? I want to start making calls to track down my supervisor from a company which no longer exists if the check goes really far back. Also, I currently work for a F10 company, so considering its size, is it possible that the BG check can be done without my employer being notified (or they call some general HR hotline so my supervisor won’t know I’m leaving)? How long does the BG check process take?
