I’ve been in my role since June of 2020 right after graduating college. I truly cannot say enough good things about my manufacturer but lately, as in the last 6ish months, I’ve truly been questioning whether there is more for me here.

As a 23 year old I know I’m more apt to hop or seek out other opportunities so I don’t want to be rash or just “toy around with leaving because I’m bored”. But at this point, I’ve reached my 2nd coaching (first was 4/2021) and it’s clear my role isn’t for me…..

Hi. I’m an exempt employee (my boss’s only W-2 employee) and have two weeks of PTO. He’s making me use that for my physical therapy and doctors appointments, and I just got diagnosed with something related to my I jury (not work related) that could qualify me for temporary disability. How do I approach this and can I get fired for this? I have to take care of my body! And he’s insanely rigid, cheap, stubborn, and at this point I don’t even think he cares about me. I’m a very hard worker!

My 4yo is in pre-K and has a knack for learning. He can do 2nd grade and even 3rd grade math/english worksheets pretty easily. He’s at par in other areas too and is super social etc, just happens to be a very quick study.

Thoughts on commuting 1-1.5 hour 3 days/week vs 15mins 5 days/week?

I'm considering a new job at a company that would require 3 days a week in office (might be able to talk them down to 2 days), but they're relatively far away. I'd be looking at a 20% pay increase, working in an industry I find much more interesting (firearms), and better vertical growth compared to where I am now. I just moved into a new house a few months ago, so moving again isn't an option.
