Does anyone know any reputable small firms in west coast that specialize in individual returns? Looking to transfer out of big 4 and do work that’s a little more transferable to myself

I have $150k sitting in my checking for the past year. Got it through retention bonus and wasn't sure if it was truly my money till the 2 year period was complete.

Should I continue to let it sit or is there a smarter way to handle this situation. Please share your thoughts.

Have an interview tomorrow for a job slightly outside my experience (coming from valuation in an accounting firm. Job is Portfolio Management Analyst) but it pays 12% more with 20-30% bonuses.

The recruiter said the team was impressed with my background and said I was "senior but willing to accept a (lower) salary" that was in their range. The salary is at the lower end of my range but it makes me feel like I should hold out for more. OTOH I'm afraid of missing the hiring boat. Help!
