Hi Fishers, I have accepted Walmart offer and my BGV has started 3 weeks ago. How do I check my BGV status? I will be joining in mid May. Also, I have been hiding one of the company where I had worked for 45 days and then absconded due to personal issues. Would it create any trouble? They had created my PF account though. Any help would be highly appreciated

I also enjoy when I tell a joke, nothing, and then a man repeats it and the room breaks into laughter...
Ughhhhhh TOO relatable! Thank you for sharing.
What I do in similar situations is say it and then follow up with “What do you think, Ryan?” So i just keep being present in the conversation while actively engaging the dudes.
And then other times I would say “How is that different from what I just said? In case I missed something.” Works like magic, they’re usually like “Durrr what, I didn’t realize the words coming out of your mouth were actually thoughts, dduurrr sorry”
Only boys that laughed at my jokes were gay boys and straight boys when no other straight boys were around. Facts.
My favorite is when I suggest something to a male CD and he repeats it back to me a minute later like it was his original idea
Seriously, I’ve just started blurting out things like, hey is it better I give my ideas to Ted first? Because when he repeats my ideas, they seem to get sold in. So. Done. With. This. Ladies, we need to work on some kind of fun manual to spell out this crap. Had a guy tell me today that he’s just not sure how to talk at work to women anymore so not to offend them. I just told him to pay us equal wages for equal work and not slap our asses after he does. I fear I’ll get fired over this anger.
Twice this week. 🙋🏽♀️
CALL. THEM. OUT.
“Hey. I literally just said that."
Ugh our editors are usually great but I have my partner working against me. I suggest something, he literally says no, do the opposite. So I suggest an A/B and let the boss decide. Then at every opportunity he “forgets” to remind the editor to do my version, or says it’s not necessary.
Jokes on him tho because 9 times out of 10 the boss ends up liking mine a ton more and it’s worth the fight
Ahhhhh yes. Welcome to advertising.
Yup.
This. Several times this week.
This is what Obama’s female staffers did with this issue. Talk to your coworkers and try it! https://qz.com/781404/women-at-the-white-house-have-started-using-the-simple-trick-of-amplification-to-get-heard-not-interrupted/amp/
Happens to editors too 😝. At an agency I used to work for, they'd circle my comments and write [MALE WRITER'S NAME]???" next to them. It actually became a running joke between some coworkers and me.
I thought I was being punked when this first happened to me--and then it just kept happening.
That’s on the editor then, it sounds like – since you’re his/her (but likely his) client. Every good editor knows their responsibility isn’t just the cut, but also to provide a good experience for the agency with the dailies. Also, we need more female editors...
