Me WFH in March vs. Now

Restructuring folks - how often are you guys on the road these days? Is there any remote work done are do you have to be coming in/traveling?

I need to make some extra money to help save for a house. Any ideas? I work from home so ideally the role would be wfh.

I was laid off back in August and I have been trying to get a product/UX/UI job ever since then. With the recession and all of the crazy things that are happening right now it has been even harder.

Is anyone hiring a mid-level Product/UX/UI designer?
I have 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer and I am available to start working immediately! (Remote work is preferred since I live in Phoenix, AZ and there are not a lot of tech jobs here)

Right now, work is slow due to statewide restrictions. There isn't much to do but we're still required to come to the office everyday. I waste around 3 hours daily between commuting and getting ready, on top of the surging gas prices. How do I talk my manager into letting us WFH? It's not like coming to the office does any difference.

Are companies starting to require hybrid schedules? I'm waiting to hear from a potential remote opportunity that's located in another state and I'm not looking to relocate at all. A friend shared that they were offered a position for a role that was suppose to be remote however when the offer was extended, the company asked informed that the position had changed to hybrid. Ultimately my friend declined.

While most teachers are protected by teacher unions, I feel my voice hasn’t been heard at all with my concerns of going back to school next week. Our diocese has decided on full return 5 days/ week for all 42 schools despite a recent increase in COVID in our communities. Can anyone suggest what should I do ? I am joining Citi next week and the team I’m assigned I heard has very hectic schedule and strict 3 days wfo and today I got a selection email from another company who are offering permanent WFH , due to certain internal approvals , the offer could be shared only next Wednesday, As I’m more inclined towards the latter. Is it possible to get early termination once my new offer comes through or I have to serve 3 months NP?

How do you envision gyms opening as part of phase 2? Going to be very difficult to add in restrictions and guidelines in my opinion. Should go for an all or nothing approach and not even think about placing restrictions on my hot yoga class.
