Women hate women.
One of the posts (in the singles bowl) was about a woman saying she’s a size 6 or something and a bunch of women saying she looks smaller. I said no I’m a size 2-4 and OP seemed accurate in what her doctor said. Someone asked for a photo so I added it. SO MANY HATEFUL COMMENTS FROM WOMEN! I am assuming many are also onthe women in consulting bowl. Telling me I’m a much smaller size and wrong and asking why I cared enough to post a photo. Took it down immediately and never share anything anymore
I think most women are supportive and kind but the hateful ones are much more vocal and full of so much vitriol you forget about the kind ones.

I agree to an extent. I’m a woman and throughout multiple friendships with women, women can get catty even your “besties”. But the way women do it is different than men. Women attack each other mentally (I like to call them mental ninjas) versus men who attack each other physically. Men for some reason cannot see this.

To be fair the most popular companies and titles in this bowl come from the consulting space. Maybe it’s just more women in this bowl than men. We may never know.

I’m sorry about your experience. I’m in that bowl and don’t believe I’ve went through that. I said “don’t believe” because honestly I don’t pay attention to anything negative. Yes it’ll bother me for a good hr or so if it’s truly mean but then I make myself let it go and move on. I say this with the knowledge that you cannot control others and what they say. You can only control yourself and your response. Many people when given the opportunity to be “anonymous” online will like to stir the pot just for kicks, others will empty out their true feelings on topics which they hide on a daily basis and others will just take out their frustrations on people because of the issues they are experiencing. It’s like that saying hurt people hurt people. They like to push others down so they feel better about themselves. So be aware of this just dismiss the negative comments it’s more about them than you.
