A recruiter reached out to me from Meta for a contingent worker role at Meta. It seems like an interesting enough role. The title is Program Manager IV. I have 14 years experience in tech roles and have never worked for any FAANG, but I really want to chance.
I'm trying to figure out what sort of hourly rate I can demand for this role. What sort of comp do regular salaried employees get for Program Manager IV roles (or equivalent)?
Does anyone have experience with a prenup/postnup? I have been wanting to get a postnuptial because I did not think about these things when I got married. We make the same salary, have separate accounts, but I have been building my wealth and working hard at saving my money while he has a mountain of debt and doesn’t save. It scares me to think if anything happens, he could just take half of my assets.
How does the Merck interview/hiring process work? My wife interviewed there 2 weeks ago for a job and hasn’t heard anything… today she got an email from workday about “continuing the process”. The there was a link in the email that brought her to workday and asked about non compete and salary requirements. Is this possibly good news or just standard practice?

Colleague has put in his resignation. They are offering him whatever he wants to stay including 4days a week work from home. He’s not bluffing and plans to leave. However, at this same time I was asked to begin working as a supervisor for the engineering team and I would get a promotion at the beginning of the year. I have been supervising and managing our team of 6 for months with no extra pay or bonuses. I was told yesterday that raises will be light this year. Yet today they spare nothing.
I have been selected for Consultant position for Mastercard. Its been 10 days since I have submitted my documents.
HR called once last week for salary negotiation but hasn’t called back since.
Should i be worried?
I'm looking to hire a new attorney, but have no idea what to pay them. My gross revenue is about $240k-$250k. I mainly only do criminal and family law. New attorney will do criminal cases and personal injury. I'm working with my marketing guy on building a PI marketing campaign for new attorney. I'm thinking about paying him a base salary of $36k ($3k/month) then splitting any settlement from his civil cases 50/50. Thoughts on the pay structure?
Hello! I have a Q about salary - I was extremely underpaid at my previous agency. I made my switch to Zeno earlier this year but feel as though I undervalued myself when negotiating my salary. Has anyone had success or can offer advice on asking for a higher salary when you’ve been at a company less than a year? TY!
