Tata Consultancy Hi fishies, I recently interviewed for a Big data dev role for Autodesk but it's via a third party called Applicantz. Initially the contract is for 1 year, which can be extended. There is also scope of Autodesk hiring permanently after 6 months or 1 year. Can anyone provide some reviews about Autodesk and third party Applicantz. Usually I would not have considered anything via a third party, but the company(Autodesk) seems great and work discussed seems good as well.

So this article says the average student loan debt is 30k. Seems very reasonable to manage over 10 years. Doesn’t seem “crippling” as I’ve been lead to believe by the dems. Not sure what the crisis is then, especially when these folks also have no trouble financing a similarly priced car. 🤷♀️
I guess that “student loan crisis” while driving a car that costs the same is the embodiment of “treat yo self."

The following summed it up.
Since millennials care more about a rich life than a rich bank account, it's no surprise they love the experience economy.
A survey from Eventbrite, a "marketplace for live event experiences," found that 78% of millennials respondents would rather spend money on an experience than a thing, and 77% said their best memories come from experiences, Business Insider's Libby Kane reported.
Many millennials have a "treat yourself" mentality, according to Fidelity Investments' 2018 Millennial Money Study.
Funny thing about that, as one of the better off millennials I can say that a lot of major purchases are driven by certain life milestones. If you are pushing off getting married, having kids, and buying a house because you financially can’t afford it, then it makes sense that you’d spend more on “experiences”. To put it another way, where would you put the “stuff” you buy?
Also, don’t skip over the depressed wages. That matters too
I’m one of the older millennials. Took about $50k student loans but had paid it off. Worked hard for my life, had 2 jobs during my college years, and probably missed the “experience” of partying. Lost the job, lost my saving during financial crisis.
Still able to save up after the economy picked up, have 100 times more than average millennials net worth. I’ve never felt student loan debt crippled my life, and I still was able to support my 2 siblings through their college as well.
I may have never experienced what those millennials experience but to each on their own, it’s a choice people make
Next you’re going to say that the Trump tax cuts were different.
As with most things in life, finding a balance seems to be the best. Don’t be afraid to splurge on the experiences that make you truly happy, and at the same time, invest in your future.
