If you did this interviewing with me, I’d end the interview and show you out. Bluntly, it would show you were either unaware of your confidentiality agreements, or willingly violate them, neither of which I’d want to have to deal with if I hired you.

like

Only if it is public record. My one project like that the partner was speaking in front of Congress about the work so no secrets to be divulged there.

like

I'd only be willing to mention industries, like Pharma or Oil & Gas.

You can say Fortune 50 telecom client. That’s his I speak to clients

like

No, you are under non disclosure.

like

That's what I thought, thanks!

You can if it's public record but inadvisable in any case

Sample clients are fine, just not in relation to the actual work: "I've done work for Google, Facebook, and Amway, among many others"

Good to know, but in many industries with only a few big players I feel it’d be pretty damn obvious.

Say something like “a large [industry name] client” but not the city of headquarters or major operations. Even if there are only a few major players you still haven’t specified which.

Trouble networking virtually; I started recently, 3 months ago. I am not sure how projects/internal moves work but I was wondering if anyone has advice on networking virtually? I am finding it tricky because I don't know anyone apart from my team & I can't view Talent Marketplace because I am on a billable project, not sure how long it will go. I enjoy my work and not looking to move just yet, I wanted to see what else is out there and looking for opportunities to network with more people.

Do you ever go through an interview totally prepared and you’re thinking “I am seriously nailing this!” And you leave it feeling super good, but you remember one thing you said that could have been misconstrued, or something you did that was maybe weird, and by the next day you just feel like you completely bombed it? No, just me? Are there any true indicators for knowing whether you did well in an interview or nah?

Hey fam. Appreciate your inputs on this: I used to be a software developer and currently work as a tech risk consultant (CISA, CRISC certified). Have completed a couple of cyber courses but do not have prior cyber experience. Most cyber sec job postings require prior experience in cloud, aws, devops etc. Applied to a couple of roles but no avail. A) Can I start a career in cyber security without prior experience? B) Will CISSP or relevant cyber certifications help?

Don’t know how to explain it yet, but I wanted to come here and vent. Anyone else experience this?
