What are your thoughts on LinkedIn? Meaning, actively using the platform by posting, liking and sharing not just having a profile. Is it important, providing visibility, job leads or is it just a professional Facebook page? I’m torn on if I want/need to spend the time if it won’t yield a true network.

been in industry (small companies) for 5 years with an active CPA. Wanted to get in SEC reporting roles but almost every company requires 2-year public accounting exp. Now applying for public accounting firms entry level positions but almost all firms HR asked if I had ever worked in firms. Got rejection emails from firms all the time. Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?

In wipro do we need to track time on the floor? Like how much time we are working etc? Is there any tracker for that?

How do you all *actually* set boundaries at work, especially during busy season? There’s a lot of advice out there about making appointments for any personal plans (workouts, dinner, etc.) and treating them as you would work appointments, but then you get the pings “hey we just got comments from the partner on XYZ, can you address them asap?” And pushing back on that for other stuff that’s not an emergency would get frowned upon. I feel like I’m running myself ragged - senior if that’s helpful
